Friend of Orphans Internship

Friends of Orphans program is tailored to provide children at orphanage home with affection, support, and a decent life in the hopes of helping them to become responsible citizens. The students are between the ages of 2 and 16. You will be there to help with homework and encourage their academic progress.

Interns are engaged in the following:

  • Teaching English, Mathematics and science (depending on interest of Intern)
  • Assisting with cleaning, changing diapers, cooking and serving food to the children
  • Helping with organizing Physical Education/Sports lessons.
  • Assisting staff with counseling children.
  • Conducting research

To be considered for Friend of Orphans Internship Program, you must:

  • be an undergraduate student who is currently enrolled in an accredited university perusing one of the following:
    • International Peacebuilding
    • Social work
    • Psychology
    • International Cultural Studies
    • Anthropology
    • Sciences ( Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, Public health etc)
    • be a sophomore, junior or senior

In addition to the above, student must demonstrate strong attitude of compassion, love, kindness and generosity.
